In addition to our Germany-based manufactory in Gosheim, Hermle clocks are also built in Amherst, Virginia. Nestled in the scenic foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia, Hermle Black Forest Clocks began manufacturing mechanical movements in the USA in 1977. This marked a new chapter of growth for the company as Hermle was able to utilize American and imported hardwoods to supply case goods for highly sought-after German quality mechanisms. The Amherst plant specializes in traditional hardwood floor, grandfather, wall, and mantel clock cases, with German movements and accessories. Some of the styles are based on early American tradition, and one is even a licensed Colonial Williamsburg reproduction.
Franz Hermle started his clock company in 1922 once Germany began recovering from World War I. His focus was on attention to detail and expert craftsmanship, which is still seen in the clocks they produce today. Exquisite wood selections, stains, paint, designs and movements are what make Hermle such a renown and quality brand.
By the 1930s, Hermle became world renown for their clock movement manufacturing, leveraging modern advancements in engineering that put them ahead of the competition who still used 19th century methods to manufacture their movements. This increased the efficiency and precision of making the clocks and resulted in a better overall product.
Hermle Clocks is known worldwide for their wide range of Grandfather clocks, Wall Clocks, Mantel Clocks and Regulator Clocks. With facilities in the United States and Germany, Hermle and their 500 employees keep a close eye on the quality of the items they produce.
For 100 years, Hermle has set the stage and standard for quality clock movements and timepieces. They continue to push forward and innovate with modern designs as well as uphold antique traditional styles. Hermle movements are found in a wide variety of other clock makers internals and they continue to offer a quality product unlike any other.

Order Confirmation, Processing & Shipment:
- You will receive a confirmation email that your order has successfully been placed. The credit card used has been authorized for the purchase and we will immediately begin fulfilling your shipment.
- In any case that any selected item in your order has been backordered or not unavailable - then we will reach out to you from both email or phone.
- Once your order has been shipped, you'll receive an email confirming shipment and a tracking number for your convenience.

We know that sometimes things don't work out or you may change your mind. We can honor a 100% refund if your product is cancelled within 24 hours, or if it has not shipped yet. It’s important to contact us as soon as possible when trying to cancel an order. Please submit your request in writing including the order number, product, and your contact information and we will do our best to cancel it for you. If the product is in production or already shipped, then you will need to follow our return policy instructions. You will be accountable for any shipping costs and a 3% processing fee on credit card transactions, as well as any applicable restocking fees. If the product was not shipped, a full refund or exchange can be made easily by contacting us.
Can I return my order?
Customer satisfaction is very important to us and our Customer Services Support Team is here to assist you. To return an eligible item to Home Luxe Decors, please send an email to email@example.com within 24-72 hours of your original purchase date. Please keep in mind that items that are made-to-order are final sale unless stated otherwise.
Orders with missing pieces or defective parts will fall under warranty and can be returned or replaced.
- Reference your order number as proof of purchase
- Returned items must be in their original condition, including any retail packaging, in order to be accepted.
- Photos of damage or defect must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
- If the item arrived damaged or was not what you ordered, Home Luxe Decors will pay the return shipping cost. For all other returns you are responsible for the return shipping cost and for any damage or loss during shipment back to us.

Warranty & Service
Home Luxe Decors is an authorized dealer for all brands it offers for sale and each clock is covered by a full manufacturer warranty. Warranty conditions vary slightly from brand to brand but all service on all clocks purchased from Home Luxe Decors is done in the United States at the manufacturer or their direct representative authorized repair facility. Each clock we offer has a unique serial number and comes complete with the paperwork you need to obtain warranty service. Please follow the instructions enclosed. In order to obtain service, please call first to make sure that the repair you need is covered by warranty and to see if the shipping may be covered as well. If it is the part that is needed, in most cases, the manufacturer is able to ship the part to you free of charge.
All Hermle clocks sold by Home Luxe Decors come with a full 3-year manufacturer warranty for protection against defects in parts and workmanship. This is the most extensive and comprehensive warranty in the industry, which of course is to be expected on these high-end items made with the highest quality of materials and the best workmanship.
We're pleased to provide our customers with peace of mind that their clock will continue to function properly or be repaired or replaced at no cost.
We also provide peace of mind on heavier and hard-to-handle merchandise items with a complimentary "white glove" delivery and setup service. Grandfather and other floor clocks are delivered to the recipient’s home or office, and not just left at the front door, and set up according to the customer's instructions.
All Clock movements sold by Home Luxe Decors are covered by the manufacturer's warranty
- FHS and URGOS clock movements have a 3-year warranty against factory defects. Within 1-90 days: repair or replace at manufacturer's discretion and return is paid by the manufacturer.
- After 91 days and up to 3 years: the customer is responsible for the return. The manufacturer will repair the defective units including pivot holes worn to the point the clock stops.
- If any markings are added to the movement, this becomes an automatic repair.
- Contact us for a return number before shipping.
- It is the responsibility of the customer to pack the return securely. Damages due to improper packing by the customer will not be credited.
